Prenatal Yoga Reviews
Nicola, Kenilworth
I can highly recommend prenatal yoga classes with Lucy. She creates a welcoming, safe space which is important to me as I’ve been feeling vulnerable during this pregnancy. I feel confident knowing that everything Lucy teaches is benefitting baby and me. I can tell that the breathing techniques we practise will be really useful during labour and this helps impart a sense of calm about the whole process. These techniques have also helped me to sleep better - I haven’t been sleeping too well during my pregnancy but always sleep really well the night after Lucy’s class.

I cannot recommend Lucy’s classes enough. As a working mother of two I have found it impossible to switch off and take time out for me. Lucy’s classes have allowed me to carve out some time for self care, whether we are looking to reenergise or relax, Lucy tailor makes her classes to suit our needs. Lucy is focussed on building a supportive community for mums to be, with a mix of first timers and old hats everyone is welcome. I have struggled with SPD in my pregnancies and Lucy takes this into account when adapting the class to suit individual needs. I look forward for my weekly time out where I really get to connect with my baby and the classes have given me the skills I need to tap into this anytime that I can, whether it’s before bed or a day off. Lucy has factored in practices which will be invaluable in labour and has offered up some really practical breathing techniques as well as positions for labour which will be so helpful.

Pregnancy yoga with Lucy helped teach me breathing techniques and postures to help me prepare for my baby’s birth. It also helped relieve some of the aches and pains of pregnancy and helped me feel more connected to my baby growing inside.
Lucy is a great teacher with a lot of experience focusing on each individual and what works for them.
Ashtanga Yoga Reviews
Kat, Germany
I started my Ashtanga yoga journey with Lucy from Living Your Yoga and what can I say: I am hooked! I never thought of making that much progress in such a short amount of time (6 months). Thanks to my weekly practice with Lucy I can see so much improvement of my hamstring flexibility. The Ashtanga yoga practice improved also my core and upper body strength. I am totally motivated to practice on my own as well thanks to Lucy’s fantastic approach to this practice. Lucy’s warm voice guides you to all the postures, which is wonderful. She is really living her yoga and explains the benefits of postures extremely well. You can also practice Ashtanga with Lucy online thanks to her fabulous digital set up.
I think without my Ashtange yoga practice all the lockdowns would have been much harder for me. Thanks to the practice I am able to control my mind and body much easier. Thanks Lucy for your amazing support throughout these difficult times for freelancers!

Lucy’s Ashtanga yoga classes on a Saturday morning are an invigorating start to my weekend! Lucy is fantastic! As she guides us through the primary series she provides helpful little tips and suggestions to help us get the most out of each posture, while always keeping the classes fun and playful (like when she encourages us to smile on our 5th successive boat pose!!!) Highly recommend.

I’ve been practicing Ashtanga Yoga now for just over 5 years with various teachers, but Lucy’s classes and teachings have been where I’ve really discovered my path. She is really an amazing teacher and friend. From a physical practice, to a mindful practice. A practice with focus on the breathe and later to find balance in my life. Lucy’s classes are unique with discovery, through regular practice and understanding, of my inner self. I have learnt to love and live my life in a more positive way that my yoga practice journey is both on the mat and living an ethical yoga practice in my everyday life.
Lucy’s Ashtanga sessions are soul food for my body and mind.

Kat, Germany
If you are searching for a holistic approach to your yoga practice then Lucy from Living your Yoga is your woman! She focuses very much on breathing techniques combined with yoga postures and every lesson of her Mixed Ability Class has one special move that gets a bit of extra attention. After every yoga practice with Lucy I feel totally relaxed and strong. I literally sleep like a baby after the class! Thanks to Lucy’s well-structured classes I can see my improvement of flexibility and strength, which helps me in my every day life as a freelancer. My yoga practice is one of my weekly highlights and thanks to Lucy’s perfectly arranged online set up I can join from everywhere!

Lucy is a very caring and considerate yoga teacher whose knowledge is immense, and expertise unfaltering. Extremely dedicated to her craft, she has an amazing ability to explain what she needs you to do, even through a screen. In fact, I remember after my first yoga zoom lesson, I remarked how it was like physically having her in the room with you! She is encouraging in her approach, and adds humour and lightness to the practice.
Whether you are a complete beginner or near expert, I would recommend Lucy’s classes wholeheartedly.
Thank you Lucy for such fab classes! They have become a great support to both my physical and mental health. Please keep on doing what you are doing!

I wasn't sure I would enjoy yoga when I first joined Lucy's classes a couple of years ago as I'd preferred exercise that was a bit more lively but it is so enjoyable. The biggest benefit for me has been on my stress levels. Every class is an opportunity to reconnect with my body and I usually leave that class with a feeling of inner calm. It has also been great for improving my flexibility and strength.
Ellie, Kenilworth
I have been practising yoga with Lucy for a few years now and noticed the change is my upper body strength and my flexibility. It not only helps strengthen your body but strengthens your mind and focus. Highly recommend her classes either face to face or online
Jane, Kenilworth
Lucy is the best teacher of any subject that I have ever come across. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about yoga and she makes sure that each and every student has a great experience in her classes and learns and benefits from yoga. Lucy is constantly learning and improving her knowledge and then passing on that knowledge to her students. The classes are fun and varied and I highly recommend Living Your Yoga.
Simon, Kenilworth
Fantastic yoga classes delivered in a way that clearly demonstrates Lucy’s depth of knowledge about all things yoga. Classes have made a huge difference to my physical and mental well-being especially over lockdown. Thanks
Melissa, Kenilworth
I really enjoy yoga but it is without a doubt Lucy's classes that have kept me returning to the mat time and time again. I cannot recommended Living your Yoga highly enough.

It’s often feels an effort to ‘make’ a class - but always worth it. Lucy is a calm clear knowledgeable teacher.

I have attended Lucy's lessons for nearly 2 years, sometimes twice a week. They have been hugely beneficial in loosening up my body, I have had various sports injuries on most limbs and Lucy's lessons have movements that allow for this.
Anna, Kenilworth
I have attended just about all forms of yoga classes offered by Living your Yoga and can highly recommend all of them. Lucy has a huge amount of knowledge and passion for promoting wellbeing through yoga and her approach is incredibly inclusive. If you're an experienced yogi, a complete novice, or looking for a different corporate wellbeing class, then you won't be disappointed with Living your Yoga.
Jen, Kenilworth
I have attended yoga classes with Lucy since she first started and have attended mixed ability, one-off events, pre natal yoga and post natal yoga. She is an amazing teacher and prior to having my son a few months ago I was the most flexible and strongest I have felt since I was a child. I would definitely recommend Lucy to anyone who was considering a yoga class.
Well-Woman Yoga Reviews
Penny, Kenilworth
I have been attending Lucy’s well woman yoga practice for eighteen months and really look forward to the weekly class. Lucy is a brilliant teacher with an infectious laugh and she makes the sessions so enjoyable. You feel that you’ve had a work out but also feel chilled out at the same time. She is very approachable and always gives you the confidence to feel that you can do the exercise even if you doubt you can.
Kay, Coventry
Over the last two years I have found Lucy's yoga classes invaluable improving my core strength and posture, as well as helping with various arm and shoulder issues relating to office and computer work. I would highly recommend Lucy whether you're a beginner or more advanced.
Jeannette, Coventry
I am 69 years old with knee and wrist joint problems. With my physical issues I didn’t think that I would be able follow a yoga practice. With Lucy’s teaching methods and patience, I have been able, with her guidance, to achieve my yoga practice once again.
Nicki, Buckinghamshire
I have been joining Lucy via Zoom for Well-Woman and Mixed Ability classes. I am so delighted to be able to do this, they help so much and I usually wouldn’t be able to attend her classes as I live an hours drive from Kenilworth.
Over the past 30 years I have done all sorts of different yoga and suddenly found when I hit my 50’s that I cannot imagine doing what I used to as my body has taken off on its own journey. My biggest challenge seems to be arthritic pain in my hands, the hand stretches that we do in the Well-Woman class really helps with this.
Last summer my son found it hilarious that I could not do more than about six jumps on the trampoline but seven months later I can run further, sneeze without fear and my husband and I both enjoy the benefits of the bandha exercises. The practice itself is gentle and works in a very subtle way that is so effective at a much deeper level. I had been told there was little that could be done about the pelvic floor but I am amazed at how quickly I am now able to connect with myself thanks to these classes.
Anne, Warwickshire
The Well-Woman classes have been a great introduction to yoga for me.
Lucy is very welcoming and reassuring and gives very clear direction. She is always careful to make sure you are doing each pose correctly and takes into consideration any injuries or issues you may have. A very personalised approach.
Lucy is very passionate and knowledgeable and I have learnt a lot more about my body’s capabilities since joining her class.
I would highly recommend you try one of Lucy’s classes.
1:1 Reviews
Libby, Oxfordshire
I began my1:1 yoga sessions with Lucy as a complete beginner. Our sessions have helped me to grow in confidence and establish a yoga practice of my own - which has been of great benefit to me, especially throughout lockdown.
Our regular lessons are generally focused on Ashtanga yoga, because that is my particular interest, but I know that if I am tired, injured, or just overwhelmed Lucy will adapt our session to incorporate Well Woman practices, yoga Nidra, and any modifications that will benefit me. Lucy is an exceptional teacher. She is both compassionate and exacting. I can laugh or cry in our lessons (and I do!). 1:1 lessons have helped yoga become part of my life because Lucy has taught me that my yoga practice is exactly that - mine.
